Coating characteristics
NON-STICK
Only a few solid substances adhere permanently to an S.C.S. non-stick coating, even in the presence of tacky materials that may have a certain stickiness. Nearly all substances slide off effortlessly.
LOW COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION
The friction coefficient of surfaces treated with our coatings typically ranges between 0.05 and 0.20 based on factors such as load, movement speed, and the specific type of coating applied.
NON-WETTABILITY
Surfaces treated with our coatings are less prone to wetting, effectively repelling both oils and water, which simplifies and enhances the cleaning process. Additionally, in many cases, these surfaces exhibit self-cleaning properties.
CRYOGENIC RESISTANCE
Our industrial coatings maintain their properties unchanged even at extreme low temperatures. Some types of fluorinated coatings can be used at temperatures as low as -270°C/-454°F
HEAT RESISTANCE
Our industrial coatings can operate continuously at temperatures up to 290°C/550° F and cab be used intermittently up to 315°C/600°F, provided there is adequate ventilation.
CORROSION RESISTANCE – MARINE APPLICATIONS
These coatings, specifically tailored to the Oil & Gas industry, withstand corrosion caused by exposure to seawater and chemicals used in oil drilling.

ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES
